I actually DID once get a fortune that said, "Help me! I'm being held captive in a Chinese fortune cookie factory."

I also once got an unfortunate cookie--the piece of paper was completely blank!

I've been known to write "Your lunch is free" on the back of the fortune slip just to see the reaction of the staff. First, astonishment, then smiles.
