After some pretty unhappy experiences with some highly-recommended places, we really scored a few nights ago. Tayyab is everything it's reputed to be and more. Thank god, no more generic sweet, greasy, and flavorless curries. The ingredients were fresh, handled with respect, and spiced carefully and appropriately. The downside is that you must start eating early, else a table will be impossible to get. BYOB. And again, thank god for that- one of our group brought a very nice old Madeira, the first 18th century wine I've ever tried.
Highly recommended.
