My new favorite apple

The Lucy Glo! The one I just ate was prettier--more white patches and less uniformly red. Comparatively, the ones in this picture look radiated. But wow oh wow on the flavor. Super crisp and tangy, more sweet than sour but satisfyingly there's a lot of both. I bought three yesterday. Today I'll go back for more.

My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Jean and I will be heading up to Michigan to go apple picking at a U-pick orchard this weekend. Our favorite variety is Cameo, but our son prefers Cortland, so we'll bring back 50 lbs of both. The apples stay good in a fridge for several months.
