We were down there at the beginning of the year, and a tour guide asked us what the most dangerous animal in Australia was (humans not included). His answer: the horse. Apparently, more people die due to riding accidents and such than from any other animal-related issue. I didn't ask how Horse Wellington with locally foraged mushrooms might fit into this.....
