Fascinating. Appalling. Dumb.

I don't see what the attraction of EMP is. I went there (before they renovated) and was pretty disappointed. We got the "premium" wine paring and after the second glass of Bandol, I asked the sommelier why he considered them "premium". I'll probably never go back.

When I go to NYC, I try to stop at Dirt Candy. Amanda Cohen does an amazing job creating vegetarian menus (her cooking staff also has a hand in developing the menu). A lot better than EMP and less expensive.
