It seems that most of the soy products we get in the West are processed - soy sauce, tofu, etc.
I have a local source of all sorts of Asian products, including dried soy beans (both white and black), and have been using the latter in soups and such. Healthy, low carb, high protein and they taste good. See pages like this:

Our local supermarket carries soy bean sprouts (they look like a larger version of the typical mung bean sprouts) every now and then. I don't care for the flavor of soy beans so I don't use them.

Other than the processed soy products, I occasionally use sprouts or edamame. And once in a great while, soy flour.

Nope, I never cook with them. I occasionally get them roasted/salted, usually in a mix with other crunchy things. I like edamame served at Japanese restaurants.
