this place is out in the middle of nowhere but not too far from beaulieu-sur-layon. the actual village is supposed to be saint-aubin de luigne; but i didn't see a village at all. the name is restaurant la corniche and they specialize in the products of small local producers. at the beginning of the menu is the list of their suppliers and what they supply. the butter was especially dense and rich and fresh at the same time. the food quality is very good if rustic and the wines are nice and reasonable. if you are visiting wineries in the coteaux du layon or quarts des chaume areas, i think you would enjoy this unique place. i believe there are signs at intersections for saint-aubin de luigne and they should take you by the restaurant.
