Thank you. That was an interesting explanation. I saw the movie and wondered about it. Of course, I did not get the zig that the noodles and the beef type are both echt Korean but I did get the zag that tossing top-shelf meat on package noodles was an extravagance that the rich family simply took for granted.

Interesting that the meat called for was essentially Wagyu, but they translated it to sirloin instead of, say, filet mignon, which I think would have made the point better.

Frank Deis tried the dish and loved it, btw. Also, my brother and I are intent on making it: one of the two packaged noodles is called 'Chappaghetti'. Since Chappell is our surname, we can't consider this anything but destiny. At the very least, Chris needs to make it his new house noodle. ;)
