Pork and Snow Pea Stir Fry

by David M. Bueker » Sun Apr 16, 2006 6:57 pm

Once again making dinner from a random assortment of items in the fridge.

Thin strips of boneless pork chops marinated for about an hour in a mixture of 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp chili sauce, 4 cloves of garlic and 1 tsp of honey.

Stir fry the pork until just cooked through. Removed from wok.

In a scant tsp of oil I then stir fried a Tbsp each of chopped garlic and ginger, then added the snow peas and some thinly sliced red pepper. After a minute or so I added the pork back in along with 2 Tbsp of soy sauce and cooked until the pork was completely reheated.

Served with brown rice it was a nice match with a 2003 Hexamer Spatlese*.
