Anyone Else into Nori Snacks?

Basically small sheets of dried seaweed with a bit of salt on them. Pretty common on shelves around here but possibly not so common elsewhere. Considered quite healthy.

I tried exactly 12 different images that this site refused to show although every one showed on my test site - I give up. Wish I didn't have this issue here that I don't elsewhere.

Hmm ... they look delicious. I like nori on sushi maki, so these sound delicious. I'll look around some Asian stores here.

So how did you get the image to post, Robin?

I went online and found the original, snagged its URL, and framed it with the "img" attributes from the buttons above. But here's the key: It was an https:// url, and I deleted the s, making it http://

Remember, this only works when the original image is 800x800 or smaller.

An awful lot of browsers these days automatically convert http: (insecure) URLs into https: (secure), during either page access or URL copy operations. In general this is a good thing and conveniently adds extra protection even when the website owner publishes insecure links. But if a server isn't configured to use the secure protocol, it can result in the failure you saw.

I always delete the 's', Paul and check that the image address still works and that it is small enough for the site. The ones I tried to post were small enough but for some reason wouldn't post. Just one of the frustrations of internet life, I guess. Thanks to Robin for finding a version of the image that would post - I gave up after a dozen that should have worked, didn't.
