Red Hawk cheese by Cowgirl Creamery makes me realize

I could never, ever be a vegan, even though I sympathize with the arguments.

There was a particularly gooey round at the Napa Oxbow Market cheese stand.

Oh My Gawd. I am in heaven.

Slathering it on the very good Dave's Good Seed Bread allows me to at least pretend I am eating a semi-healthy snack.

Nothing else like it from North America. It is up there with the best French cheeses (at least the ones you can get here).

I feel your pain! And yes, Red Hawk is that good--one of America's best cheeses that could stand up to anything from anywhere else. Don't see it around much anymore, though. Maybe that's just because I moved out of California?

I like the Red Hawk as well, though their Mt Tam seems to be more available around NY
