That was this morning and it's already higher this afternoon ... don't forget - you have to add trucking/freight, warehouse distribution costs, and retail markup to the above prices ...

I'm not looking forward to those prices. I'll probably plant more veges this spring.

BTW, for several months even before the freeze, green onions were priced awfully high (59-79 cents per bunch) instead of the usual prices of 3-4 bunches per dollar (I have found them at a Chinese supermarket for that price, but it's 10 miles away). Do you know the reason for that?

Larry, your "high" prices are our everyday year round prices here. Occasionally, we get them for 50 cents/bunch. The last bunch I got was 79 cents.

Same here, Linda. 89 cents for organically grown yesterday, and about half as many onions in the bunch than usual.

...and mine weren't even organic.
