Francis Lam replacing Kasper on The Splendid Table

Today, Lynne Rossetto Kasper announced that she is retiring as host of The Splendid Table at the end of 2017. While we've tried talking her out it, she is very excited to launch the next chapter of her life. Lynne and the entire Splendid Table team are thrilled that good friend, award-winning New York Times columnist Francis Lam, will become the new host of The Splendid Table.

Our first new episode of The Splendid Table with Francis Lam at the helm will be the weekend of Friday, March 10.

I liked Ms. Kaspar's program but I really like Francis Lam and think his presence will up the ante a bit. Thanks for the announcement!
