He didn't put the usual link over here, so:

Thank you, Jenise.

Which pairings -- terrine and accompaniment, I mean -- did you like best?

Gee, can I say mine? :)

It was an interesting group. The Vietnamese seafood terrine all by itself was better with the Pewsey Vale, but if you picked up a bit of the sweet salad the Spatlese connected. Without it, not at all. In all, with that one, it seemed to come down palate preference for the wine itself more than the food in terms of who liked which.

One of the most unexpectedly interesting pairings were the pink sparklers with the roasted vegetable terrine. I would not have sent up that match, but in fact it did work quite well.

Yes, you may. :D

Pumpkin would have zeroed-in on the rabbit-hazelnut one. But I find rabbit doesn't have a lot of flavor.

I am glad you discussed the Vietnamese seafood one. Very interesting idea.

Yours did, indeed, look like jambon persillee!

That was Bill's terrine. Of his two wines the Zind-Humbrecht was the definitive choice and I believe all agreed, in part because it really did sing with the hazelnuts but also because the other wine was kind of wan, didn't show much.
