Cook Book Proliferation

by Bill Spohn » Wed Jul 20, 2016 10:33 am

I have always been an avid book collector and have thousands of volumes now thankfully all together in a library, except for the cook books which occupy shelves in the pantry. As they are limited in capacity I find myself exercising an entirely unnatural restraint in acquiring more, although I'm sure this will pass.

In the mean time, has anyone got the "Battersby: Extraordinary Food from an Ordinary Kitchen" book? Just looking for a comment on how spaceworthy it might be.....

Hardly! I actually buy/own relatively few. The more I have and the less I cook from them, the worse I feel so though I enjoy reading them like novels, I am careful to not let the pending pile get too high.
