When good plating goes bad

Came across this article on Slate. It shows some examples of food presentation that have gone way off the rails, including items served in shoes and in what appears to be an elk's rib cage. They're from a Facebook page used to document such ridiculosities, which is well worth checking out if you have Facebook.

Good one, Mike! The images aren't loading right now ... I think Time-Warner is messing around with us ... but I'm looking forward to checking this out!

The pix wouldn't load for me, either. I went to the FB page. Hoo boy. I can maybe understand food served on a cutting board or a brick. I might even be willing to give a pass to the culinary trowel. But the canape on a skull is a bit much, as is the portion of bangers served in a dustpan....
