Ted, with all respect, when you block ads on THIS forum, you're depriving us of the clicks we need to pay the rent on our servers so we can publish the forum for free. It's sort of like reading the Hollywood mags at the grocery store and then putting them back on the rack.

Just a thought, but if you can endure it, "whitelisting" WLDG on your Adblock list would be a kind thing to do.

I seem to get about 90% REI ads, which is not bad.

The ads you will see, in general, will be driven by your online shopping and/or searches if you use Google.

Were you looking for McRib sammiches, Robin?

Did you really find it necessary to inform Robin of that fact? That was mean. Now Robin is going to question if there are actually shamrocks in his shake.

I just got an ad purporting to tell me how to raise cash for Lafite. It was directly below another ad about how to avoid running out of money in retirement. I think step 1 is likely not buying Lafite.

I got an ad on Amazon once that was suggesting that I buy Bill Clinton's autobiography "My Life". Amazon said it was suggesting this because I'd bought Gary Larson's "The Complete Far Side".
