Yeah, wasn't it? Jeremiah was a real force of nature. Thought it might be especially interesting for the east coasters to get a taste of what's coming to Tavern on the Green.

All the "east coasters" are going to get a taste of is a tired, has-been that is no longer a "force of nature" and is attempting to stage some sort of lame come back. My best wishes to him if he can pull it off and reinvent a fatigued act that was getting moldy even when he was still at Stars.

It will be interesting to see what Tower can do, given his age. That's a fun article, though, both for the descriptions of the wild times at Chez Panisse and for the chronicle of changes that restaurant has been through.

Indeed; a dinner at Stars was my lowest point in San Francisco dining out.
