Happy National Lobster Newburg Day!

by Jenise » Tue Mar 25, 2014 3:50 pm

Yeah, really.

Too silly for words, but on the other hand it might just hold the inspiration needed for dinner since, after all, this is Bob's birthday week and I've gotta up my game a little!

Some recipe ideas:

Who knew there was a nutrition month? Then, each day for a certain food...what will "they" think of next, heaven forbid. Given some of the food on that calender, maybe April should be exercise month, with each day dedicated to a specific exercise. That I could do.

Well, you're a Sweet Thang, and you know it. With a surprise underneath. I'd take it! ;)

I don't have the patience to click thru the days until my birthday rolls around, but talk about inappropriate: National Tomato Day is in early April? Whose tomatoes are we talking about? Too early here, too late Down Under. I don't get it.

So, Lobster Newburg followed a mimosa salad (still not over this obsession) with a bottle of 2009 Fevre 'Vaillons' Chablis. Thank god today's National Spinach Day so that we can lighten up.
