We hear a lot on here about bad cooking shows and the decline of the Food Network. Dolce Vita is a show I enjoy on the Cooking Channel...it is all things Italian. I love the picnics high up on a cliff overlooking the sea, or the beautiful villas they visit, markets, family outings, vineyards and so much more. The shoot is different parts of Italy for several episodes, it is great, sort of like a cooking show and travel log all in one. Anyone else enjoy it? David is not a chef but he is Italian. Born in Canada he immerses himself in Tuscan life and does appreciate, and cook good food.
Another one I watch is Extra Virgin, a spirited show with actress Debi Mazar and her Italian husband Gabriele Corcos. They cook in their own home have fun with family and friends, do some traveling, as well. Not quite on the grand scale as Dolce Vita, but still enjoyable.
