This is a new Food Network show with Any Thielen, a trained chef from Manhattan who returned to her home town in Minnesota. She cooks from her log cabin and prepares typical Midwestern food. She is casual and fun. I liked the first show and learned about ring bologna. I had never heard of it. Years ago, I used to by a chunk o Bologna from a local meat market. We loved thick slices fried. The small ring bologna, fried to crispy coin looked delicious in this first episode. Has anyone seen this show? I have my DVR set to record the series.
A family member owns Thielen Meats in Little Falls, Minnesota. Beautiful store.
