Sicilian olive oils can be quite interesting for the same reasons that Sicilian wines can (volcanic soils). If you can find the olive oil of Arianna Occhipinti, give it a shot (Envoyer fine wines was selling it last year and
this vendor is selling it now). More easily located is "Frantoia," a Sicilian olive oil from a bigger operation. These are still quite fruity, but there's more going on in them.
