Anyone ever get anything from these folks??? I've been getting emails from them for awhile because they're local (Ipswich, MA) and I like to work with local folks. I've never bought anything from them, but the latest email had some interesting stuff. I got something called Long Pepper that's supposedly the favorite spice of ancient Rome and some Deep Water Sea Salt. I got the stuff on a whim, but I must say I'm very pleased. The pepper looks like a very miniature cattail, and the taste is very intriguing - earthy, a bit like mace (they say nutmeg). The salt supposedly is drawn up from 2000 feet deep off the Kona coast to evaporators. It's a really nice tasting finishing salt. Give them a look - www.salttraders.com.

The Parameswaren pepper is by far, the best and most interesting pepper I've ever had.
