TOP CHEF: The best thing about this season may be....

by Jenise » Wed Jan 25, 2012 9:41 am

....Hugh Acheson's blog. Mind, I just found it myself. I don't read the site and wouldn't have if I weren't awake in the middle of the night when I shouldn't and don't want to be and had run out of things to do that don't make noise. (Been there?) But Hugh's observations read like a play-by-play announcer's, (typed, apparently, while waiting for a flight out of Salt Lake City where he watched last week's episode which I thought this season's best by far) and are hilarious. He's deliciously snarky, irreverent like Bourdain but not as dark.

It's a great read for anyone interested (probably just Carrie, but that's okay) in Top Chef or, hey, just Hugh. When you're done reading the first page, just click Next Next Next until you're done. It's about five pages long.

My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Jenise, thanks for the heads up. So happy to see he has a blog since I don't think the show has utilized him to his potential this season. I was hoping for more face-time from him.
Just read his most recent play-by-play and cracked up. He is spot on! I'll read the rest when I have a few minutes!
Hello. My name is Carrie, and I...I....still like oaked Chardonnay. (Please don't judge.)
