Grandpa used to slosh a bit of water around in the bottle and put it on his meatloaf or hash, and say, "YUM!" to us grandkids who were looking on in horror.

The stuff's probably fine to prevent icing on airplane wings, but I am not sure if I want it touching my food. John, there is nothing wrong in using a little bit of water to persuade the rest of the ketchup out :)
