As an adult, do you still eat candy bars?

As for me, the answer is yes. Now and then, I buy a Snickers, put it in the refer and take a bite now and then...it lasts me about a week. I prefer to buy a bag of mixed chocolate bars such as the mini chocolate bars I have in the refer now. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, Krackle, etc. Another fave is the M & M Peanut Chocolate candies, that I put into a small bowl. I try to look at it as a luxury item because of the sugar. I also like the coffee flavored hard candies.

Had one yesterday - Hersey's with almonds. I'll go months without one then have 3 or 4 in a week.

Only when my husband and I go to the movies. Jordan Almonds or Malted Whoppers.

From time to time walking past a kiosk, seeing the Mars Bars the temptation overwhelms. That invariably followed by a double espresso at a good cafe.

Yes, I stand very guilty here.

Especially with the likes of Kit Kat's, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Caramello's, Peanut M&M's, etc.

If it's any justification, I also love "healthy chocolate" as well (60-70% cocoa bars etc). To me all forms of "indulgent chocolate", commercial quality or artisan quality is still, well...indulgent!
Not that I eat it daily but it is a frequent indulgence.

Definitively yes

Got into NZ versions a while ago - Moro bars much less sickly than Mars Bars for instance (though a shame the dark & light Mars Bar never returned - seriously better balanced with dark chocolate). Also from NZ the various marshmallow creations, for me reaching a peak at chocolate marshmallow easter eggs. Peanut slabs and Coconut Slabs also gain a worthy mention.

Rarely, although when we stock up for Halloween trick-or-treaters, we generally get something that we'll be willing to nibble if there's an overage. For Mary, little packs of M&Ms. For me, mini Reese's Cups (they're good frozen).

Maybe a couple per year. Now on the other hand, cookies are a whole nuther matter.

I keep my candy in the refer or freezer, and that is why I take only a bite....don't want to crack a tooth. If you crack one just right, you loose it! When I sit down in the afternoon to read, I like to take one of the mini chocolate bars, break off half and let it melt slowly in my mouth. Then I do the same with the other half....makes it so delectable! Actually taking a bite now and then makes it pure luxury.

I love Snickers and certain other candy bars, and after Hallowe'en we often have a few left over. Ah, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. There is something hard to find, "Ice Cubes" -- and Goldenberg's Peanut Chews.

But since I am in Weight Watchers -- I am still "allowed" to eat candy bars but I look at the Nutrition Information and realize I am about to spend eight points, and that would be 2 glasses of red wine or more than 2 glasses of white wine. It's hard to make the decision to include the candy bar under those constraints.

What I do is buy dark chocolate non-pareils from our local producer (Birnn Chocolate). This is rich wonderful "European" style chocolate, and two or three non-pareils gives me a chocolate fix without the large point values. Even then, I don't indulge very often...

Very rarely do I eat a "candy bar" other than around Halloween. Then I buy the ones I like...Kit Kats, Twix, Nestle Crunch...since we invariably have leftovers.
I do always keep a generous supply of Dove dark chocolates and dark chocolate covered almonds (that I buy bulk from Fresh Market -- incredibly good.)

Malted Milk balls are another thing I like to pop into my mouth and just let them melt....they self-destruct slowly.

The appeal of malt is something that must have skipped me when I was given my sweet tooth. I always associate it with gummi bears, licorice, and other candies that I skip over on my way to the chocolate.

I do love butterscotch candies or the strawberries n cream varieties. Other than that, I seem to stay locked in chocolate land when it comes to candy.

I'm the same way with milkshakes. I love normal milkshakes (or just ice cream) but don't "get" malts. It's something in the sharpness of its flavor I think.

That reminds me of the "sea foam chocolate" my aunt often bought. I'm not sure if it's quite the same thing but this stuff was like a spongey air wafer wrapped in chocolate. It wasn't my favorite kind of thing but it was a unique textural experience.

I still think "Pop Rocks" (or "Cosmic Candy" as I remember it from the late 70's) is the "coolest" candy I've come across. It's as if Rice Crispies collided with sugar. What a magical idea! It's the only candy I know of that actually interacts with you.
