I thought that too, but it came to me in an email with several other old ads and they were all from the 50's, but, who knows. It does say "kept" the war bonds.Robin Garr wrote:Guys, before we start pining too much for those old days, let's remember what our fathers and grandfathers took home in salary back then.
Howie, are you sure that ad was from the '50s? The reference to "War Bonds" makes me think it might be a little older.
