Gosh, no one ever told me how much smoke this makes! I felt like I needed a spacesuit so I could navigate freely in the dense, alien atmosphere of my kitchen.

There must be a better way.

Outside in a skillet on the grill?

On the stove for a couple of minutes with a little bit of thyme and salt, then into the oven.
