I rarely bake, but I want to make this for Easter. Can I make it the day before without sacrificing anything? I'm not a dessert eater but this received so many good reviews on so many sites that it must be worthy of making.

Cake is like soup. Day two is always better.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing, or at least I was thinking that is the way it should be, because I really do want to make it a day ahead! :) Thanks!

I'm not much of a baker either, but I eat a lot of my wife's stuff over the course of a few days. Seems to me that a cake like that would be quite nice the day after it was made.

Fer gosh sake, it's a pound cake. It will keep for a week, if not a month! 8)
