Using radish leaves as garnish

I came across a recipe for potato salad using red potatoes and radishes, all roasted. It sounded very interesting to me as I have never cooked radishes except in a soup. The recipe calls for keeping the radish leaves and using them as a garnish.
I grow a crop of radishes every year and while I enjoy them I toss the leaves. They have a fuzz on them that is rather "rough". Have any of you ever used radish leaves as a garnish?

Karen, like you, I never use radish leaves--but I do wonder if some, especially when young, aren't tender enough to be a good green. I also never cook radishes, but a Canadian friend sometimes sautes them (quickly) with peas and, I think, mint. It's an interesting and pretty combination.

I have never used radish leaves as a garnish but at times will buy small radishes, place them in a sealable plastic bag with a bit of water sprinkled over. After about a week the radishes begin to sprout and those leaves make a remarkable addition to a salad adding a minty-radish note. After the sprouts are trimmed off, the radishes remain perfectl edible.

Does it require a whole radish to sprout, or will the trimmed tops cut off (or in my case many times, bitten off :) ) a radish (and otherwise discarded) re-sprout?

Never tried it with a "partial radish". Might work but considering that the radishes remain crisp and edible after sprouting and trimming the tops, never thought it necessary.
