That's a direct quote from Anthony Bourdain in an article about his writing for the most-excellent HBO show, TREME, referring to critic Alan Richman.

Actually, that doesn't appear to have been quite the direct quote. The word "jerk" was in parentheses, so I'm guessing the direct quote had a little more emphasis to it.
