Thumbs down on Haagen-Dazs Banana Split Ice Cream

I love Haagen-Dazs ice cream and have been eating it for 30+ years. My favorite picture is of Liz with a pint of their chocolate and a spoon (why get a dish dirty if you're going to eat the whole pint?). Well, I tried the Banana Split flavor during the Pro Bowl yesterday and I think it's just awful - way too sweet, hardly any banana flavor or vanilla flavor and the taste and texture of the cherries is just an unattractively-colored mush. Hours later the taste was still in my mouth. Not a fan to say the least. But I love their chocolate!
