It is tradition for our family to have fresh crab on Christmas Eve. Usually with sour dough bread and a fresh green salad. This year my mind is blank as to what kind of salad to serve. What kind of salad do you like with your fresh crab?
Caesar. Plenty of oomph to counteract the sweet richness of the crab. I use the recipe from the original 1960s Sunset Cook Book. And of course LOTS of sourdough "French" bread.

My family would disown me! The challenge of picking while have good conversation around the table is part of the fun.. I like the idea of a caesar salad, that one had not crossed my mind. Thank you!
