Has anyone purchased tea from Adagio Teas in NJ?

I haven't tried Adagio Teas, but I've had great service from Harney and Sons, out of Salisbury, CT. Great website, easy to navigate. Teas are wonderful and run the gamut from green to black and everything in between. One thing I like is how they rate the tea for aroma, body, and briskness. This helps me to identify what I might like.

We've used ten ren tea for years with wonderful service and terrific teas.

Sue, Carl, Howard: Thanks for the links -- I added them all. I went ahead and ordered some Irish Breakfast from Adagio. If not to my liking, I'll try another site as recommended by you.

I've purchased too large orders from them and have been happy with the service both times. My favorite is their Yunan Gold, and it must be other people's favorite too because it's frequently out of stock due to limited supply.

I've tried several black, oolong, green, flavored, and rooibos teas and they've been good (or at least true to type...I tried samples of some teas that weren't my thing). However, their herbal teas aren't up to the quality of the rest (at least to my taste).

There is nothing like Irish Breakfast tea on a rainy morning. Does it ever rain out there?

The tea arrived quicker than expected yesterday. Not only did it arrive promptly, but they followed up with an email today saying it should have arrived and to call if any problems.

The tea itself is better than expected. It is extremely flavorful and makes great iced tea as well.

I am very pleased with Adagio Teas.

Let me ask a stupid question. How much better are these teas than something like Twinings that is available at the supermarket?

Are there any looseleaf teas other than Twinings I should get? I love looseleaf tea and make a big pot every Sat. and Sun. Are the internet sites the cheapest for tea that is significantly better?

If my experiences with the tea shop in the Ferry Building in SF are any indication, hugely. Not only better, but a much greater variety. Damn, that's all I needed, another expensive passion...
