We found the ones boxed for Wolfgang Puck to be head and shoulders above all competition. So, guess which brand got dropped by our local supermarket? They now carry six other brands that all suck.

Never tried his: I have a general distrust of celebrity brands and like the Kitchen Basics brand--at least the chicken. I take it you've tried that one?

Karen/NoCA wrote:Safeway stores in Redding sold out their Muir Glen weeks ago....when I called to inquire they gave me this, "do we carry that brand?" "Well, I've bought it there for years, so you must have carried it at one time" I said, rather annoyed. A locally owned supermarket is still carrying it and so is Raley's. I was unable to find anything out as to why Safeway dropped it, they wanted me to call corporate office to inquire. In Raley's the product is shelved in the health section of store on the very bottom shelf. That tells me it was not a best seller, probably because it is pricey and I rarely see it on sale.
So it IS chain-wide, huh. Too bad you didn't get in on the clearance, Karen.
