Here is an interesting interview with her. I always enjoyed watching her, she reminded me of Julia Child, with her mistakes, and wonderful "carry on" attitude. She loves cooking and says it is a matter of nurturing for her. I totally agree. I always wondered why she did not go further with her career, and she enlightens us with her comments. I admire her for considering her family first, she always did, even while working for the Food Network. I dd not realize she was the major breadwinner in her family. It is interesting that she has been rehired as a consultant.
The great thing about Sara Moulton's shows were that, no matter who you were, you couldn't help but like her. She's nice to the bone, and it showed/shows. As it does in this interview, so thanks.

Karen, Your comment brings up an interesting thought. "I always wondered why she did not go further with her career". I guess she doesn't have her line of home fragrances selling at Target yet but that can't be far behind if she really wants to be in the big time....... I'm just wondering what it is that we value as accomplishment is any career and how much things have changed since Julia Child.
I enjoyed watching her, she was down to earth, seemed to make a lot of mistakes when I first started watching, but blew over them just like Julia Child did. She never seemed really happy with her job on the Food network. She is a short little lady and often mentioned about having to stand on a box at times. I always felt she'd make a great teacher and should have opened a chef school. The responsibility of being the only bread winner in the family must be hard.
