? soup . Should have plenty of at hand ingredients to fufill the no shopping requirements to make it interesting.

My attempts have always ended up with starchy glop, similiar to lumpy old fashioned wallpaper paste.

I have recently been making 'meat pies': cassoulet, shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie, quiche. So, don't do savory pies. :wink:

Lots of great ideas. Today's NYT had me thinking dumplings, too; but let's go with Christina's suggestion since it came first: soup!
