Rick Bayless to open new L.A. Eatery

by Jenise » Thu Feb 18, 2010 6:41 pm

An article by Mark Brandau in the National Restaurant News details the April opening of a new Rick Bayless venture on L.A.'s Melrose Avenue called RED O. I guess this is his first restaurant outside of Chicago.

Anyway, per the article, the restaurant "will combine Bayless’ signature Mexican cuisine with lighter “California-style” menu items and an extensive tequila list." The restaurant will feature a 14 seat communal table (I love those) and an adjacent Tequila bar. The restaurant will open for dinner only initially, but lunch and possibly breakfast will be added later this year.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
