Finally had time to watch this, thanks for the post! It was a blast. You know what, I saw the episode with Gordon driving the reasonably priced car, but I'm thinking he must have been on the show more than once. I'm certain they didn't do the food-on-the-engines thing, and I also recall conversation about Gordon's rather impressive collection of fast cars that wasn't included here.
