Curnonsky - The Greatest of the 20th Century Gourmets

by Daniel Rogov » Sun Dec 27, 2009 6:20 pm

The subject of Curnonsky, in my opinion the greatest of the 20th century gourmets, came up in chat tonight (Sunday). For those wishing a bit more information on this truly splendiferous human being I have posted an excerpt from my little book "Rogues, Writers and Whores" at viewtopic.php?f=30&t=29132

Interesting! This has to be who the critic in "Ratatouille" was based upon. Thanks for posting...."the rest of the story".

Julia, Hi.....

With regard to Anton Ego in Ratatouille, I can assure you with 100% certainty that although Curnonsky and his habits were taken into consideration when making the film, he was not the model.
