Wisconsin Cheeseburgers

by Greg H » Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:38 am

Chef Carey posted a link (Thanks, Chef) to a website with recipes for a raft of cheeseburgers. The site takes a while to load, but has some nice pics and suggestions. I made four of these cheeseburgers using the recipes as guides. I cut them in half, ringed a plate with the halves and served them with homemade chips in the middle. Over the top, but they were all very good. Below are the four I made.

Miss Daisy
Brie
Fig spread
Dijon mustard
Spinach
Multigrain roll

Camelot
Brie
Shiitake mushrooms
Bacon
Dijon mayo
Carmelized onions
Heirloom tomato
Onion roll

Pioneer
Swiss cheese
Sauteed mushrooms
Rosemary
Bacon
Garlic Aioli
Finger lettuce
Cheddar roll

Mona Lisa
Maytag blue cheese
Sun dried tomatoes
Olive tapenade
Arugula
Garlic mayo
Ciabatta

wow, those are some fussy burgers. I really like the design of the website, it suits the subject matter.
