English Muffin Bread

by Celia » Sat Sep 26, 2009 9:06 pm

Someone asked me about making this bread ages ago - Jenise? RR?

Anyway, I came across a recipe for it today, so thought I'd pass it on. I haven't tried it, but it does sound good!

I remember our discussing it--I think I mentioned it as the greatest toasting bread I'd come across. Very popular in my neck of the woods, and seemingly something new. Certainly isn't a bread I grew up with.

Ah, I knew it had been mentioned. It looks like a nice recipe, although I'm puzzled by the short rising times for sourdough. Hmmm...
