Boboli

by Jenise » Thu Sep 24, 2009 7:24 am

A long time ago I bought a Boboli and didn't care much for it. Too bready, and I wasn't keen on the flavor. Never bought another until two days ago when I clipped an endcap display of Bobolis with my cart at the market and managed to send one flying. When I picked it up to put it back on the rack, I noticed it was both whole wheat and much thinner than the Boboli I remembered not liking. So I bought it, and today I put it on the grill covered with a little olive oil, garlic, cheddar and sliced green zebra tomatoes. Still not as good as making your own crust, but, especially with the singed flavor gained from the grill, quite nice.

I did not like them either and agree about being too bready. I will look for that this morning when I go to town, it is nice to make a quick pizza for lunch sometimes.

Last time I looked, Boboli had both a regular and thin crust version.

And that would be what I got hold of. I just hadn't realized, not having been a fan of the product all those years ago.
