Monkey coconuts

Last night I watched an episode of Iron Chef (challenge coconut, Morimoto vs. Mehta) where one of them used something called a Monkey coconut. They were small, one inch round coconuts--smooth brown edible exterior, which flesh inside, hollow core, which Alton Brown explained looked like coconuts, tasted like coconuts, but were not actually in the coconut family. Anyway, have never seen such a thing before. Anyone know of them? Anyone had them?

Thank you! I tried googling for them too, but all my efforts yielded was a bunch of tiki hut trinkets on eBay.

Enjoyed the Frieda website. Of course, I'm familiar with their name even though I haven't seen these--some curious stuff they have. Did you see the black (fermented) garlic?
