Pesto recco

by Larry Greenly » Sun Aug 09, 2009 11:03 pm

Back story: In the late '60s I received an NSF grant to attend an optics course at Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. I met another physics teacher and we still correspond once or twice a year. A few weeks ago, I got a phone from the friend of the physics teacher who was passing through Albuquerque. Unfortunately, we didn't connect, but he sent me a case of pesto that his restaurant makes.

Tonight, I made linguine with shrimp and his basil pesto. I have to admit, his basil pesto is absolutely great. I'll give reports as I taste the others.

So, if you're near Binghamton, NY or want to mail order, here's his website: http://wholeinthewall.com/pesto.htm. Tell 'em Larry sent you. I've never met the guy, so my only payback is passing along a favorable recco to people who will apppreciate it.
