Aren't words interesting? Red Lobster advertises "a full half-pound of lobster." Can you think of any examples?

I am sure you want food related examples, but the following has always bothered me:

Airlines that say they are "pre-boarding". That makes no sence as a verb. If people are getting on the plane then you are boarding. Now, the airline may want to board certain passengers before others, but boarding has started. Therefore, the "pre" part has ended. That some passengers board the plane before me never bothered me. Who do these airlines think they are fooling? Are there going to be riots from the other passangers if the airline does not "pre-board" those with babies or those needing assistance, but only allows them to board first?

That's pretty funny! Btw, someone here once referred to that restaurant chain as Dead Lobster. After my last visit to one (stuck in a small town, it was next to our motel...), I have to agree.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

No doubt, you've heard of "pre-owned" cars?

I once saw "Fat Free Half & Half" for sale in the grocery store.

Yeah, I've seen that. Made me laugh. Looked at the ingredients and cringed.

If God didn't want me to eat animals, why did He make them out of meat?
