Frank Bruni: confessions of an over-eater

by Jenise » Sat Jul 18, 2009 4:52 pm

The NY Times restaurant reviewer has apparently written a book about a life devoted to eating--and overeating. An excerpt will be in tomorrow's NYT Sunday Magazine, but an excerpt is on line now. It's a painfully enjoyable read:

This is a very sad situation. I watched Karen Carpenter wither away to skin and bones - she was such a great singer, one of my favorites - and died so young, and so talented.
