Quebec Dining Recs?

Going to Quebec City next month. Do you have any dining recommendations - both high end and informal places.

How about a moderate-priced restaurant in Montreal where we can take a couple of friends who are celebrating their anniversary. They are rather frugal, so no high end type of place, please.

Psarataverna du Symposium, 5334A Avenue de Parc is a Greek Seafood restaurant to die for. You can bring a crowd there without breaking the bank. Slightly more expensive but wonderful is Modavie Restaurant in Old Montreal, 1 Rue de Saint Paul West. It has an eclectic menu and a terrific wine list with reasonable prices for all offerings from low to high end.

Anything French or Quebecois to recommend?

There are some dishes at Modavie of that nature, and there are others in Old Montreal that I can't name but are easy to find if you walk around; it is a fairly small neighborhood. The Greek seafood place has another store on St Denis, but it is more upscale; so we also hit the one on Parc. They bring a selection of freshly caught fish around on a huge platter, you select one, and the fix it for you in a manner of their choice.
