RCP: Simple grilling marinade for pork tenderloin

by David M. Bueker » Sun Jul 30, 2006 7:30 pm

So once again we have food in the house that I am supposed to do somethign with. This time a pork tenderloin.

So I whipped up a marinade of the following:

2 TBSP Canola Oil
6 TBSP Soy Sauce
2 TBSP Rice Wine Vinegar
4 Cloves chopped garlic
1/2 tsp Freshly ground pepper
1 & 1/2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp five-spice powder

I did not get to marinate the pork as long as I wanted to, but it did get about 3 hours. I would have preferred 6-12.

I then did a quick sear on the grill then lowered the temp and let it cook reasonably slowly. Took it off at around 150 degrees (my wife is not pink tolerant) and voila...good stuff.
