Whoever did the data coding must have been having a good day. Similarly, I once enjoyed buying a lovely Laura Chenel montrachet style cheese and finding it later on my receipt as: Goat Log.

I reckon it was aimed at ensuring the check out chick knew which tomato code to enter. Not the Cherry Toms, not the Romas, not the Truss, so they must be the Ugly Ripe ones. :)

Good thing they don't get to describe their customers then. :)

Jenise, I buy UglyRipe tomatoes in the local chain grocery store. The trade name was printed on the box, and here's the URL: http://www.santasweets.com/product-disp ... 2711084604 (sorry, I can't seem to get the HTML to work). I agree, "heirloom tomatoes" sounds a lot more appetizing, but they were pretty tasty!

Now that's interesting! Mine were loose, not boxed, but perhaps that's a display choice.

Fixed! No extra charge! 8)

Michael, for future reference, the easiest way to put in a URL is to simply paste it in, but make sure it's not touching any other text. You don't have to use code to make it a hotlink unless you want to go to the effort of making a fancy embedded link.

Robin, thanks for the text touching tip (try saying that 10 times!). I knew I had posted URLs in HTML before and now I know how to do it again.
